Snacks is an in-game economy.

Description[edit | edit source]

Snacks are the currency in The Blackout Club (game) used by TBC club members to acquire most wardrobe customizations and used in missions at Firework Stations and Contraband Lockers to obtain some Field Items.

Snacks were first introduced in the Early Access Update 9 in late May 2019. Two weeks later, the snack system was rebalanced before The Blackout Club (game)'s launch where it was made easier for players to obtain more Snacks per mission.[1] There exist multipliers at each player level that award players more snacks per mission as the missions get harder.[1] The Snack system was updated again in mid-August 2019 to allow players to earn an additional snack per 4 XP gained rather than every 5 XP.[1]

Usage[edit | edit source]

In the Stalker Van, players can purchase a Dossier for 250 snacks using their collection of Snacks obtained on missions.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In the final scene of the Prologue, Dax and Gwen leave the Hideout saying they will be going to get more snacks before asking the player to first pick a mission.
  • When purchasing an item from a Contraband Locker or Firework Station, TBC HQ might sometimes remark to the player about looking forward to their snacks when the player returns from the mission.
