(Susan is grabbed, having been instantly detected by three separate enemies)

UC: SUSAN SUSAN SUSAN. YOU LET THEM CATCH YOU? HE LAUGHS.

Crate: oh

Maxwell: We good?

Susan: Unknown Caller

Hasty: No we’re not

Maxwell: Oh shit

Susan: Ok well that was a mistake, it happens

Maxwell: Um..hey, can- can I get some help?

Hasty: Yeah I’m coming

Susan: Um, I’m on my way

Crate: Coming!

Susan: Wait, who’s closer?

Maxwell: (whispering) Is someone recording?

Susan: (whispering) I’m always recording

Maxwell: (whispering) alright, cool

Susan: So, there was that challenge I was gonna do. I was gonna wake you up soon, and he is gonna absolutely not have anything he can do to stop me. He can try but he won’t. So what do you say? You ready for your ten seconds of lucidity?

(pause)

Susan: Wait, does Unknown Caller have speech to text? Or text to speech? Wait

Maxwell: Might as well- might text them that you’re doing it. Just to make sure. I’m gonna be looking for that in between

UC: YOU TEASE. YOU CLAIM SUCH MIRACLES. I CAN SIMPLY WALK HIM AWAY.

Susan: (typed) Are you ready for your five seconds of lucidity?

Susan: You can do what now?

Hasty: (unintelligible)

Crateshya: (typed) UC. Thank you for all you’ve done for us. We’re not going to give up hope on you.

Susan: You can walk him away...Well, let’s see it then.

(Sudden realization)

Susan: OH, you mean...no wait don’t walk away! I realize you mean that literally. I thought there was a metaphor there

(pause)

Susan: I don’t know how to hint at this...but a certain person, should have done a certain something, to your mind, that should help you wake up. If you know what I mean?

Crateshya: (typed) You’ve helped me in a way too, strangely enough. I appreciate what you’ve done with the club.

Crateshya: (typed) Without you, we would be without a lot of answers. So...thank you

UC: SUSAN. I AM HIS. AND HE IS MINE. YOU WILL NOT HAVE EITHER OF US.

Susan: We’ll see about that. (mumbling) how am i gonna do this?

(pause)

Susan: Do you have any...memories of like, your family, growing up? Like your birthday? Anything like that? Anyone in Redacre that you’ve come to know particularly well?

Crateshya: (typed) You are much more than his. You know this. You don’t have to give in, and I know you’re tired.

Crateshya: (typed) But whatever you do, please...don’t lose hope. The club hasn’t for you.

UC: SUSAN. YOU THINK YOU STAND ABOVE HIM. HIM, ON HIS BACK, BELLY UP. IT IS NOT SO.

Susan: Oh but you see, it will be so. And there will be nothing he can do to stop it.

Maxwell: I mean you don’t have to stand above somebody to kick their ass

Susan: Exactly!

Maxwell: Oh, found the in between too!

Crateshya: I’d rather not go to Saturation Control if I can stand it

Maxwell: So you don’t want me to go in?

Susan: I mean, but wouldn’t that be the ultimate test of strength?

Crateshya: Strength means nothing to me

Susan: You’re missing out

Maxwell: I want to talk to the Watcher. I want to say hi. I mean if we don’t want to I won’t

Susan: Oh wait, that reminds me. Hey Unknown Caller, does the name “Wellesley” mean anything to you?

Crateshya: Oh my god…

Susan: Does it stir up any particular memories?

UC: BOASTS! SUCK IN AIR. SWELL UP TO LOOK BIG. LITTLE WHELP. FUN. BUT HE IS NOT FOOLED.

Crateshya: (typed) And it means nothing to you either, right? You wanted to help in the end of things. This isn’t you.

Maxwell: Shoot, the text went by really fast

Susan: He said something along the lines of “you boast, suck in air, it means nothing to him”

Crateshya: Asspelt speaking terms I see

UC: YOU HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY BUSY BUSY. I KNOW MANY NAMES. FOR HE KNOWS MANY NAMES.

(Pause)

Susan: Well...how about, “Margo and Marshall Wellesley”? Do those-

(Susan is cut off by everyone getting the Hunger curse)

Hasty: Ah!

Crateshya: Oh hell

Susan: Oops!

Maxwell: I will not indulge in the blood tonight. As I did before

Susan: Why is there nothing to eat around here? Oh nevermind

Maxwell: No, don’t eat

Crateshya: (typed) You could have made sure we were left in the dark. You could have not given answers. But you did anyways, UC.

Maxwell: Don’t wanna give into that. It’s violent

Susan: Is this because I said the twin’s names?

UC: BOY MEAT. GIRL MEAT. SAME FACE. WHAT OF IT?

Susan: Oh well, I was just hoping you’d remember something about them.

Crateshya: (typed) You made sure the Deadmans were delivered to us, the club, so we would know

Susan: So I’m guessing you don’t think particularly well of them, then?

Crateshya: (typed) That isn’t the moments of a selfish person… I think despite everything, not knowing you… You’re kind in it all, even if I never met you.

Crateshya: (typed) So thank you, UC. Thank you for what you’ve done.

Hasty: (Typed) Aitah. Thank you

UC: THE WHOLE FAMILY ROTS FROM THE WOMB UP. WASTED BY THE HERD. YES, I KNEW. I CARED. BEFORE HE FOUND ME.

Susan: Try to remember when you cared about them. Why? Did you know them on a personal level?

Crateshya: (typed) You still care. You still fight. You’re tired. I get it. I’m tired too.

UC: YOU GROW BORING, SUSAN. YOU OFFER NOTHING. ASK, ASK, AND ASK. HIS GREAT EYE IS CLOSING.

Susan: Oh well, I thought I could stir up memories in you, but…

Crateshya: (typed) But you haven’t given up....else you wouldn’t be here. You still have hope. I still believe

Maxwell: Alright, um. UC, if you want, you’ve- HTS said I was strong at some point. You want to make a deal of some sort? I’ll risk it, depending on what the wager is. I dealt with your craft before, all of it. So I think I’m semi capable of dealing with whatever you throw at me

Crateshya: (typed) You have friends looking for you. You have the club who want to help.

UC: I CAME HERE. I HAD SAD LITTLE GOALS. SCRAPS OF LORE. NOW. I HAVE HIM. THE CHASE. THE HUNT. THE GLORY.

Crateshya: (typed) Even if your beacon grows dim… we can carry it for you

Maxwell: Honestly UC, you aren’t actually speaking any kind of truth, because this isn’t “you”, the you is currently sleeping somewhere in the back of your head. The real UC is not here. You’re a fake

Susan: Actually…

Maxwell: Some sort of (unintelligible)

Susan: If it’s information you want, I can take a gamble.

Crateshya: (typed) You always seek to help others.

Susan: If the rest of you guys like, aren’t gonna kill me the second I say this name

Maxwell: Whose? Oh

Susan: You-know-who, that we have trapped in there

Crateshya: (typed) You sell yourself too short.

Hasty: (unintelligible)

Crateshya: Oh god..please

Maxwell: (something) their side reveals first

Crateshya: Don’t take anything. I don’t trust it

Susan: I mean, if it wakes up Unknown Caller for like a few seconds…

Maxwell: I’ll stand by you in case UC decides to do something funky, I can quickly guard you

UC: YOU. ME. HIM. YOU CLING TO THESE LINES. HE CROSSES THEM. SUSAN BABBLED OF PASSWORDS. YET...

Crateshya: (typed) You’re going to get free. There’s not much we can do but…

(pause)

Crateshya: (typed) You have so much more power than you can imagine. The power of hope. You don’t have to be scared anymore, UC.

Susan: You know what, I suppose I will try the brute force method. DIE-FOR-YOU

(Next message comes while Susan is mid sentence)

UC: I COME HERE, AND YOU MISTAKE ME FOR A BOOK. IF I AM. IT IS NOW HIS ALONE TO READ hia;r14 his

Susan: DIE-FOR-YOU- oh my god

Crateshya: (typed) We will win. Fair and square.

Maxwell: (gasp)

Susan: Oh my god!

Maxwell: The real UC is here?

Crateshya: (typed) UC???

Susan: It worked!

Hasty: Susan!

Susan: Ok, um, we don’t have much time. Uh, someone you know-

(shape pops up next to Susan)

Susan: Oh shit! Um...You have a bunch of passwords to your laptop, and someone you know in Redacre- I’ll give you a hint, you know something about their mother possibly? They need the passwords, and we need your help

Crateshya: (typed) Please be safe…

Crateshya: (typed) Can you run off? does he still grasp you?

UC: you don’t don’t understand. i can’t … where i am supposed to be, it’s just him him him him him

Susan: Well, forget about him for a minute. He has no power over you anymore. I mean- Ok he does, but

Crateshya: (typed) Where are you? we need to corner you. We have a plan.

Susan: You can’t let him win. You are in control. I believe in you

Crateshya: (typed) We want to help.

Maxwell: You want me to get the Shape on me? So you can focus on…

Susan: I don’t know how possible that is

Crateshya: I don’t think the Shape’s gonna (unintelligible)

UC: he is still here, he hears me, he knows what i am am am sending

Susan: Listen, by the time we’ve figured out how to use the information, he won’t have had time to stop us. That’s kind of what my angle was here. Use the information faster than he can

(pause)

Susan: What’s important is I don’t think he knows who is using these passwords

Crateshya: (typed) You wanted to send out the last one to someone not aligned. I am here to help

UC: mother? passwords, yes i … i remember needing so many, but i don’t have anything, he is there. mother? Who

Crateshya: Mother?

Susan: Um…

Maxwell: Did he want to talk about his mother?

Susan: No I’m talking about the mother of the person who’s using the passwords

Maxwell: Oh

Susan: Um...they’re a person who was very angry about the state of the Voices. They gave up on the club that we were a part of, and they left to join your group, The Dead Skeptic. Do you remember The Dead Skeptic?

Crateshya: (typed) I know it is frightening, but… we’re trying to loosen his grasp.

UC: angry. i remember one of them being angry.

Susan: Yes

Hasty: (unintelligible)

Crateshya: (typed) Devin.

Susan: Welp. Devin Esposito. Do you remember them? They need your help

Maxwell: Watch out the Shape’s down here

UC: yes. i found the facility where they took p0000000]6 5.

Crateshya: (unintelligible)

Maxwell: Oh shit

Susan: Oh…

Hasty: (unintelligible)

Susan: Well, whatever that is I’m sure it’s important. Devin right now, I think they have your laptop?

Maxwell: Could be Bells?

Susan: And they’re trying to get into it, but they only know the password you gave them

UC: MINE

Crateshya: (typed) We’ll keep praying, UC. Please … stay strong

(The group is given Gorgon)

Crateshya: (typed) Asspelt, take a hike will you?

Susan: Can’t say we didn’t try

Crateshya: (typed) You’re not important rn

(The group is given No More Shadows)

Susan: Ok, HUNT-THE-STRONG, I see the point you’re making

Crateshya: Did you have to name him?

Susan: That’s a lot of curses

Maxwell: This is like typical curse (unintelligible)

(The group is given The Call)

Susan: Ok but like he’s giving us all the curses

(The group is given Paper Angels)

Maxwell: I’m gonna be perfectly honest

Crateshya: Jesus

Maxwell: Is actually more of an overall upgrade. UC, did you forget that No More Shadows actually benefits you, and outheals the Hunger?

Crateshya: Don’t talk. He’s not worth our time

Maxwell: He’s a bastard

(The group repeatedly takes damage given by UC)

Susan: Did you just smack us?

(From this point onwards, the group also attempts to go to the Place Between, but the Watcher does not show up. Susan also gets Shaped three times and dies)
