Sparrow: Yes. It was...about the Old Tongue and about how precise it can be used in comparison to one versus many. I was curious because...we knew the situation with...with Graham...where your Makers were able to target him but with a large group of people. And I’m wondering how it scales. And how precise that can be. If it’s possible to scale.

Sparrow: Wasn’t that something you guys would have better tabs on? Having locked her away in the Place Between? Or at the very least, the Scholar would know? He would have been the one observing her, right? Even if she didn’t communicate back.

Sparrow: How she was trapped? There are rumors around the Club that is was...a collaboration between a follower of your Makers and that Watcher themselves...but I don’t know what trapped them. Just that something happened when they went into the Place Between. A separation? Details beyond that I don’t know. It’s beyond me.
"TID: SOMETHING? I WILL SEEK THAT OUT. BUT…"

Sparrow: That’s true. A lot of Club members sought her out. They...wanted to save her.
"TID: HOW DID THEY CHANGE HER?"
Sparrow: I...don’t know? I feel like maybe it was an appeal to her better nature? If she has one..A lot of them seemed inclined to assist in whatever way they could. ..I don’t know. Maybe that reaching out and trying to get her out became this...weird exchange. Fostering a trust? I’m not sure. But it was clear the tune changed the more kids reached out.

Sparrow: It needed a lot of work to get there, though. And imperfections.. Which, as you said are definitely there. If that’s a measure that you want to take, though, this was such a long process...I’m not sure that it would be viable unless you found a way to exploit it on a larger scale. And even then, depending, we simply may not have the time.
