[WillowDeer was looking for fragments again and was about to search the Dream Therapy Cliff Entrance fragment with her drone when she gets a text]
UC: Hi, new phone, sorry. We still on to study together? Come to my house, I swear this Chem test is melting my brain! Haha!
WillowDeer mutters: Oh shit!
[WillowDeer started to head to 922 but responds]
WillowDeer: Hold on, let me get to a safe spot.
[WillowDeer quickly heads to 922 and enters the room with the broken symbol]
WillowDeer: I'm here. Could you repeat that? I got half of that.
UC: You went 'home'. That's a good sign. Got another for me?
WillowDeer: Um, I'm not sure what you mean by 'another' but I haven't said the word you told me.
UC: Uh huh, and what word was that, exactly?
WillowDeer: I feel this is a trick question. Am I totally safe by this symbol?
WillowDeer: I don't want the voices to hear.
UC: That's another good sign. Totally safe? No such thing, the Zzz types seem... to be able to remember much that happens inside.
[After a minute, WillowDeer responds]
WillowDeer: Well, nobody seems to be coming in this room.
[WillowDeer places a Sleep Tripwire at the door then settles back near the symbol]
WillowDeer: If they try, they'll get trapped.
[WillowDeer waits a few moments before eventually saying]
WillowDeer: [ Redacted ]
[After about a minute, she was starting to type something else when the phone buzzes]
UC: Okay. So at least these voices you hear seem to let you make decisions of your own. I got a question.
[WillowDeer waits for the question]
UC: You know anyone who has spoken to something, maybe others call it Hunter? Like directly heard from it. Or... does it talk to you?
WillowDeer: I know of someone who has spoken to him. A kid named Kit Ballard. He seem to be really interested in her.
WillowDeer: *seems
[They take a little time to respond but eventually say]
UC: I don't know all the names, but maybe I spoke to her. That helps, kid. I've tried a couple clips on others, and they hear nothing at all. It's like there are big blanks.
WillowDeer: I just want to free my little brother, Gabriel, from Them, be free myself and get out of this town. This place eats at you.
UC: I think maybe the adolescent in question has to have some kind of exposure TO the voice in the recorded sleep-song. One of them said 'two hunters'. so I'm chasing it.
[WillowDeer wants to say something but isn’t sure what to say so she says nothing]
UC: Eats at you. Yeah. I already feel kind of ... estranged. Anyway, I don't know anything about you family, I'm a stranger here. But I will keep an eat out.
WillowDeer: That would help but please, keep a low profile.
WillowDeer: I don't want anything to happen to you necessarily.
UC: That same password, next time we meet. I'll feed you something. You hear Voices, which... I do not love. But nobody seems to pull strings. Until then. Stay awake. And thank you.
