SEED-THE-GRUDGE: HOW ARE YOU DOING TODAY, CHILDREN

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: GOOD EVENING, EMERALD.

Emerald: Ah, yes. And to you as well, SEED-THE-GRUDGE. I hope my prayers have met you well.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I WAS HOPING TO FOLLOW-UP ON THAT.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I’M CURIOUS OF THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE FOR ME REGARDING BELLS.

Emerald: Very well. I have different pieces of information. Would you like to hear the part about Bells first?

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: PLEASE.

Emerald: Alright. There is a—scheme, designed to ensnare you, not...well, bind you—into the Alliance. They think, and perhaps rightly so, that if it can be proven, and from what I’ve seen and found and read I think it may actually be true…

Emerald: …that prior to Bells (unintelligible) went searching for evidence, inviting trouble to herself—she was…wronged in a way, that was not her fault.

Emerald: They believed that evidence could be used to bind you against those who did it and thus to the Alliance. I have found…things, but I’m hesitant to present them to you…

Emerald: …because in the end I would rather it be your choice whether you wish to side with them or not.

Emerald: I find myself, ever since you made me make that list, I was making lists of those who were spies, those I could not work with.

Emerald: And I kept coming back to—that, that I could work with you.

Emerald: You and well--despite the fact that you and your sister have differences, I find you both, not honest, but straightforward in the way that I need.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I APPRECIATE YOU LOOKING OUT FOR MY WELLBEING.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: KNOW THAT I DOUBT THAT THE PACT COULD TRICK ME INTO ANY SORT OF ENTRAPMENT.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: MY CHOICE WOULD BE MY OWN.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: HOWEVER…

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I AM INTRIGUED TO THESE MISFORTUNES THAT WERE PUT UPON BELLS.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I WOULD WANT TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THESE WERE.

Emerald: I did some research at the behest of…may I say his name? The one who has the rebellious flame? It does call his attention here, but do you mind?

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I AM NOT AFRAID OF SPEAKING NAMES.

Emerald: Very well.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: PLEASE. SPEAK CLEARLY.

Emerald: At the behest of THEE-I-DARE...

Viking: THEE-I-DARE! Sorry, sorry.

Emerald: Yes, I know. I did research into this particular matter.

Emerald: What I found disturbed me—first off, I found that Bells was described to have a checkered past by one who would know, by the enemy to all of us, by SAO.

Emerald: And by looking into that checkered past, it would appear that her family had a great deal to do with it. The details of this are locked away, everyone I ask—they don’t seem to know.

Emerald: But it does seem as if…a lot of her nature and her recklessness and her abandonment of her own safety, was driven by whatever that checkered past became.

Emerald: Moreover than that, I fear much worse. I fear what’s on that flash drive. I’ve discovered some things that make me afraid.

Emerald: What was in that Saturation Control pod, and what that means. Given what was promised to THE-MEASURE-CUTS, if he would help THEE-I-DARE…

Emerald: I believe, personally, that flash drive contains the location of the children who have been infused with both Word and Song and thus can speak the old language.

Emerald: It was also thought that—the Hunter was kept in that location, and I asked myself— how could he be held or imprisoned, unless…those who could speak the true name, knew that name, and bound him there.

Emerald: And that’s what clicked for me. It seems to me, and this is mostly theory, but it could be more--that Bells let them go, and this is proven by evidence many--- (unintelligible)--and guided them out, but if she just let them run free, where would they be?

Emerald: They would have been found—so she would have had to help them hide. THEE-I-DARE was too weak to him them himself, he was just a fragment, so only Bells could have hid them, but then her mind was stripped.

Emerald: We heard about how her memories were removed, so only that flash drive contained the evidence necessary.

Emerald: I think among other things, and let’s be honest, that must be there. And so I worry...I worry that she’s been tortured for this location, or worse.

Emerald: And that this whole scenario, every tragedy that became upon her was because of all the hardships that her family basically put upon her, be it SPEAK-AS-ONE taking her mother from her, her mother willingly agreeing to be part of SPEAK-AS-ONE, or much worse.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I FIND THIS BOTH EXTREMELY INTERESTING AND EXTEMELY DISTURBING.

Emerald: You and I both.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: YOU HAVE BEEN QUITE THE AID, EMERALD.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: I HAVE A TASK FOR YOU.

Emerald: What would that be, SEED-THE-GRUDGE?

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: TAKE BACK MY INTEREST TO THEE-I-DARE.

Viking: THEE-I-DARE! S-sorry, so sorry.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: TELL HIM—I MAY CONSIDER THIS PACT.

Viking: YEEES! Sorry, sorry.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: AS IT IS IN MY DEEPEST OF NATURES TO WISH TO DEFEND THE VICTIMS OF THE WORLD.

Emerald: I would not have it any other way. I was hoping against all hopes that you would make that choice. To do this, I...

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: THE VINDICATION, FOR ISABELA, IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

Emerald: There are those who care not for her, and only for her evidence. For me, much like my sister, I would see her if she were harmed, I would harm those who took arms against her.

(SEED-THE-GRUDGE makes a reactionary noise.)

Emerald: And heaven forbid she be dead, because if she is...oh, there will be so much worse.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: VINDICATION. I MUST GO. I CANNOT STAY HERE MUCH LONGER. IT ISN’T SAFE.

Emerald: That’s true. May I ask one more thing though?

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: QUICKLY.

Emerald: I...my sister, have you heard anything?

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: UNTIL THE HUNTER IS HANDLED, THERE…IS A BLOCK. WE MUST HANDLE HIM FIRST.

Emerald: If he...

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: RELAY MY MESSAGE.

Emerald: Yes. I will.

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: THEN WE WILL SPEAK SOON.

Emerald: Thank you SEED-THE-GRUDGE. I appreciate it.

Viking: (yelling) lovely to see you SEED-THE-GRUDGE! We will talk to THEE-I-DARE. Yes!

SEED-THE-GRUDGE: (laughs) THANK YOU, VIKING.
