The Blackout Club (HQ) is a character in The Blackout Club (game).

Description[ | ]

The Blackout Club (HQ) is a character contacting members of The Blackout Club during mission through text messages. The messages come from Dax and Gwen, the current leaders of TBC. The first reports of The Blackout Club (HQ) messaging players mid-mission began on November 9, 2019.

In The Blackout Club (game), text messages from the Club are normally received when completing an objective (e.g. when you finish recording all of the evidence) to inform members of their next objective. TBC HQ, however, has begun messaging players during objectives. TBC HQ texts typically refer to the player(s) by name and inquires about recent events, such as the situation with the knowledge gained from the Unknown Caller regarding Colm Ryan, THEE-I-DARE's Pact, and more recently, the reappearance of Bells. However, Occasionally HQ will appear for more light hearted interactions as well.[citation needed]

Upon hearing about a voice claiming to be Bells, the Club wants to test her for authenticity, to see if it is really her.[1] During one encounter, HQ tells players to ask Bells about something only she would know if she ever shows up again. They talk about a "first kiss" they had with Bells, where they both "kissed the back of their hands and collided". However, they wouldn't say who they were.[2] During another HQ encounter, Dax identified himself and suggested asking Bells about "The Haunted Armpit." In another encounter, Dax wrote "y'all that's her" in response to hearing how Bells recounted the story of the "Haunted Armpit" [3] When he is questioned about the earlier "first kiss" suggestion, he seemed confused. There was a long silence before he excused himself. Moments later, Gwen texted “You buttmunchers will pay for this”.[4]
